Arthritis is THE most common cause of disability in the UK. It affects millions of people in Britain. This presentation is interactive, and provides the audience with helpful information about the main types of arthritis. In particular, itprovides helpful tips and proven techniques, including relaxation, better breathing, and non-strenuous exercise for practical pain relief. Janet, who has rheumatoid arthritis herself, was a disability trainer for the charity Arthritis Care, and has many years experience of pragmatic self-management, which she has demonstrated to others who have arthritis, and to health professionals.
